MEET KELLY

I suppose this is the part where I tell you that I have always had a camera in my bag and how much I love photography. That would be true, but my camera isn’t the most important thing about me.

I was always the historian. I was the one with the photographs covered in fingerprints, the pressed flowers, show tickets, programs and newspaper clippings, taped into piles of journals, documenting everything from the clothing my friends and I wore, to the music that was playing on the mix tape in the background…always paying attention to and preserving the minutiae.

I suppose you could say that I have always been interested in the whole story. The details.

I don’t stop at the surface. The surface bores me. Give me the messy, imperfect in-betweens. We do not need matching outfits and stiff smiles. Let’s be real. Let’s be vulnerable. We are more than just the grand moments; we are the sum of many parts.

I have spent a lot of time working for and photographing families, artists, makers, small businesses, Air Bnbs and non-profits. I can promise you that it is the little things that stick: The shop dog, the hand reaching back for another, the flowers on the kitchen table…

Maybe you’re thinking this sounds like a bit much. Maybe I’m a bit much. But for the right people, I am the perfect fit. So if you’re my people, reach out and let’s create something memorable.

Please, always give me the long story version…Preferably over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

I cannot wait to meet you.
